The Swedish Competition Authority has approved the sale of a majority share of Bergvik Skog Öst

As previously announced, on 24 June 2019, BillerudKorsnäs entered into an agreement for the sale of 89.9% of the shares in Bergvik Skog Öst to the pension company AMF.

The sale has now been approved by the Swedish Competition Authority.

The transaction is planned to be completed on 30 August 2019 and the capital gain will be recognised under the heading "Discontinued operation" in the income statement.
