The Executive Board of Bilfinger SE has decided today on the repositioning
of the administrative functions in the Group. Processes, structures and
systems will be set up in a more uniform, tight and efficient manner. To
this end, one-time expenditures in a high double-digit million euro range
are planned. Included therein are investments planned by the Executive
Board into the millions for upgrading and standardizing IT systems. These
investments are subject to approval by the Supervisory Board. In addition,
the Group headquarters in Mannheim will be streamlined.

Through the repositioning Bilfinger seeks to substantially increase its
efficiency in the medium term and to reduce administrative costs by roughly
EUR100 million per annum. First savings will take effect in 2017, the most
part of the savings from 2018 onwards. They consist of personnel costs and,
not insignificantly, non-personnel costs. The implementation of the
necessary measures will be closely coordinated with the social partners.
