Big Yellow Group PLC ("Big Yellow" or "Company") was notified on 31st March 2021, that Byways Investments Ltd, a company controlled and owned by Nicholas Vetch, Executive Chairman, and his family, has entered into loan arrangements ("Loans") with J.P. Morgan Bank Luxembourg S.A ("Bank") and granted pledges in favour of the Bank over ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Shares") as security in connection with the Loans.

Byways Investments Ltd has granted pledges in favour of J.P. Morgan Bank Luxembourg S.A over ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Shares") as security in connection with the Loans.

Following this transaction, Mr Vetch and his family's holding has remained at 6,740,387 shares, representing 3.84% of the issued share capital of the Company.
