Nature of the transaction

1. On 21st May, Mr Gibson exercised an option to purchase 1,480 ordinary shares maturing under the Company's Save As You Earn Scheme at an average price of 608.0 pence per share.  This increases Mr Gibson's beneficial holding to 2,508,693 shares, representing 1.50% of the issued share capital of the Company.

2. On 21st May, Mr Lee exercised an option to purchase 2,960 ordinary shares maturing under the Company's Save As You Earn Scheme at an average price of 608.0 pence per share.  This increases Mr Lee's beneficial holding to 872,192 shares, representing 0.52% of the issued share capital of the Company.
