Director/PDMR Shareholding

Big Yellow Group PLC (the "Company") announces that on Thursday 22 August 2013, Nicholas Vetch, Executive Chairman, exercised an option to purchase 41,863 shares under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan at nil pence per share.  Mr Vetch paid the tax and national insurance arising on the vesting of the shares from his own resources to enable him to retain all of the vested shares. Following these transactions Mr Vetch's beneficial holding has increased to 9,215,020 shares representing 6.52% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Adrian Lee, Operations Director, on Thursday 22 August 2013 exercised an option to purchase 33,987 shares under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan at nil pence per share.  He sold these shares at an average price of 406.0p.  Following these transactions, Mr Lee's beneficial holding remains at 776,323 shares representing 0.55% of the issued share capital of the Company. 

John Trotman, Chief Financial Officer, on Thursday 22 August 2013 exercised an option to purchase 23,602 shares under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan at nil pence per share. He then sold 11,133 shares at an average price of 407.8p in order to pay the associated PAYE and National Insurance, and also sold a further 3,000 shares at an average price of 407.8p, retaining the remaining 9,469 shares. Following these transactions, Mr Trotman's beneficial holding has increased to 76,489 shares representing 0.05% of the issued share capital of the Company.
