Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on Thursday 11 April, James Gibson, an Executive Director, transferred 120,714 shares in the Company to his wife Michelle Gibson.  This transfer was carried out for tax planning purposes.

Following this transfer, Mr Gibson's beneficial holding remains at 2,529,226 shares representing 1.79% of the issued share capital of the Company.
