Completion of Acquisition of United Building Products
As foreshadowed in our announcement of 4 October 2021, Big River Industries Ltd ( Big River, ASX: BRI ) is pleased to announce that it has now completed the acquisition of United Building Products effective from 1 November 2021.
United Building Products has been in operation for over 30 years and has grown to be one of the largest building materials distribution businesses in the Illawarra region and provides a strong complement to Big River’s existing site at Kiama.
With United Building Products having a solid exposure to detached housing and renovation markets, the business is trading at very strong levels, and will help build a more diverse NSW region for the Company.
