ASX RELEASE

VDM awarded a $25.2 million contract

Perth, 10 January 2012 : VDM Construction (Western Operations) Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $25.2m contract from BHP Billiton Iron Ore Pty Ltd for the design and construction of an Ammonium Nitrate Storage Facility at its Jimblebar Project. The project is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 39km east of Newman. The works on site are due to commence in February 2012 and are due for completion in December 2012.

This contract takes the total value of work won by VDM this financial year to more than $150 million.
