Tokyo Olympics still undecided on fans - or no fans at all

THE QUESTION OF allowing any fans into Tokyo Olympic venues is still being debated with a decision unlikely to be announced before the end of the month.

This would be just a few weeks before the Olympics are to open on July 23. Fans from abroad have already been banned in what is shaping up as a largely made-for-television Olympics.

Tokyo and several prefectures are under a state of emergency until June 20. Infections have slowed recently, but the spread of variants is still a concern that could put pressure on already stressed medical facilities.

न्यूजीलैंड की मस्जिदों पर एक बंदूकधारी के हमले और बड़ी संख्या में नमाजियों की हत्या पर प्रधानमंत्री जेसिंडा आर्डर्न की प्रतिक्रिया पर बनने वाली एक फिल्म पर विवाद पैदा हो गया है। कहा जा रहा है कि इस फिल्म में उनका पक्ष नहीं दिखाया गया जो हमले में मारे गए थे।

एक खबर के अनुसार ऑस्ट्रेलियाई अभिनेत्री रोज बायर्न 'दे आर अस' नाम से बनने वाली फिल्म में आर्डर्न का किरदार निभाने वाली हैं। फिल्म में, क्राइस्टचर्च स्थित दो मस्जिदों में 2019 में हुए हमलों के बाद के दिनों की परिस्थिति को दर्शाया जाएगा। फिल्म का शीर्षक हमले के बाद आर्डर्न द्वारा दिए गए भाषण से लिया गया है जिसे दुनियाभर से सराहना मिली थी। न्यूजीलैंड में बहुत से लोग इस फिल्म के निर्माण से चिंतित हैं। हमले में मारे गए हसैन के छोटे भाई अया अल उमरी ने ट्विंटर पर अपनी नाराजगी व्यक्त की।

ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री बोरिस जॉनसन ने शुक्रवार को जी-7 शिखर सम्मेलन में इस समुह के नेताओं का स्वागत किया। कोविड–19 महामारी की शुरुआत के बाद पहली बार ये नेता एक स्थान पर एकत्रित हुए हैं। दक्षिण-पश्चिम ब्रिटेन में जी-7 शिखर सम्मेलन की शुरुआत होने से पहले अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन ने 50 करोड खुराक और जॉनसन ने कोविड-19 रोधी टीके की 10 करोड़ खुराक साझा करने की प्रतिबद्धता जताई थी। इस शिखर सम्मेलन का मुख्य जोर कोविड-19 से उबरने पर होगा।

इन नेताओं की चर्चा में कोरोना वायरस का मुद्दे के प्रमुखता से छाए रखने की उम्मीद थी। साथ ही धनी देशों के इस समूह के नेताओं द्वारा संघर्षरत देशों के लिए टीके की कम से कम एक अरब खराक साझा करने के लिए प्रतिबद्धता जताए जाने की उम्मीद थी। बाइडेन ने कहा, 'हम अपने वैश्विक साझेदारों के साथ मिलकर दुनिया को इस महामारी से बाहर निकालने में मदद करने जा रहे हैं।' जी-7 में कनाडा, फ्रांस, जर्मनी, इटली और जापान भी शामिल हैं। उन्होंने कहा, 'अपने वैश्विक साझेदारों के साथ मिलकर हम इस वैश्विक महामारी से दुनिया को

रूस के अधिकारियों ने प्रतिबंधित सामग्री हटाने में कथित तौर पर विफलता के चलते फेसबुक और टेलीग्राम एप पर जुर्माना लगाया है। इस कदम को देश में राजनीतिक असंतोष के बीच सोशल मीडिया मंचों को नियंत्रित करने के सरकार के सकता है।

रूबल और टेलीग्राम पर एक दोनों मंच किस प्रकार की सामग्री को हटाने में असमर्थ रहे, इसका अभी पता नहीं चल पाया है। हाल के हफ्तों में दोनों मंचो पर दूसरी बार जुर्माना लगाया गया है। इससे पहले 25 मई को रूसी
