BEL signs LAToT with R&DE (E), DRDO, for manufacturing of Unexploded Ordnance Handling Robot

ब�गलू�, 18 नवंबर, 2022 - नवर� र�ा पीएसयू भारत इले��ॉिन�स िल. (बीईएल) ने अनए�स�लोडेड ऑड�न�स ह�ड�लग रोबॉट के िनमा�ण और एक�करण के िलए डीआरडीओ क� �योगशाला, अनुसंधान एवं िवकास सं�थापना (इंजीिनयस�), पुणे के साथ एलएटीओटी पर ह�ता�र �कया।

Bengaluru, November 18, 2022 : Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has signed an LAToT with the Research and Development Establishment (Engineers), Pune, a DRDO lab, for the manufacturing and integration of Unexploded Ordnance Handling Robot.

अनए�स�लोडेड ऑड�न�स क� ह�ड�लग और िड�यू�ज़ग के िलए सुदूर प�रचािलत वाहन यूए�सओआर क� िडज़ाइन तैयार क� गई है। यह हवा से िगराए गए अनए�स�लोडेड बम� क� ह�ड�लग और उ�ह� िड�यूज़ करने म� स�म होता है। यूए�सओआर का उपयोग यूए�सओ तक सुदूर �प से प�ंचने और उसे िड�यूज़ करने के िलए �कया जा सकता है। यह हैवी �ूटी-कॉ�पै�ट सव� भू-भागीय �लेटफाम� पर आधा�रत होता है और रोबो�टक आम�, ए�ािसव वाटर जेट क�टग मशीन आ�द से सुसि�त होता है। इसे सुदूर �प से भी िनयंि�त �कया जा सकता है।

Remotely operated vehicle UXOR has been designed for handling and diffusing the unexploded ordnances (UXOs). It is capable of handling and diffusing unexploded air dropped bombs. UXOR can be utilised to remotely approach the UXO and defuse it. It is based on heavy duty-compact all terrain platform, equipped with Robotic Arm, Abrasive Water Jet Cutting Machine, etc. It can also be controlled remotely.

समझौता �ापन बीईएल को दूर�थ �प से संचािलत वाहन� के अपने उ�पाद पोट�फोिलयो का िव�तार करने और अनए�स�लोडेड ऑड�न�स ह�ड�लग उपकरण� के �े� म� अपनी िवशेष�ता को और बढ़ाने म� स�म करेगा।

The MoU will also enable BEL to expand its product portfolio of Remotely Operated Vehicles and further enhance its expertise in the field of unexploded ordnance handling devices.

R&DE (E), DRDO, is engaged in the indigenous development of various engineering systems for all the three wings of the Indian Defence Forces. R&DE (E) has developed and delivered combat engineering systems like military bridging, mine-warfare and allied systems, ground support systems and launchers for weapon programs and field defence and NBC collectiveprotection system. It is also working in the areas of robotics, composite products and microelectro-mechanical systems.
