ी हर कुमार आर ने आज नवर रा पीएसयू भारत इलेॉिनस िलिमटेड (बीईएल) के िनदेशक (अनुसंधान एवं िवकास) के प म कायभार संभाला। वे अपनी पदोित से पहले 01 फरवरी 2022 से बीईएल म महाबंधक (ौोिगक योजना) के प म कायरत थे।

Shri Hari Kumar R took charge as Director (Research & Development) of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) today. He was working as General Manager (Technology Planning)/BEL since 01 Feb 2022 prior to his elevation.

ी हर कुमार ने कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीिनयरग, िवम, केरल से बी.टेक. (इलेॉिनस और संचार) पूरा करने के बाद 01 मई 1989 को ोबेशनरी इंजीिनयर के प म बीईएल म वेश िलया। साढ़े तीन दशक से अिधक के करयर म, वे मुय प से िवकास और इंजीिनयरग (डी एंड ई) म रहे ह, जहाँ उहने उ गुणवा वाले िडजाइन और इंजीिनयरग लेखन के साथ िविनमाण का समथन कया है।

Shri Hari Kumar joined BEL on 01 May 1989 as a Probationary Engineer after completing his B. Tech. (Electronics & Communication) from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Kerala. In a career spanning more than three and a half decades, he has primarily been in Development and Engineering (D&E), supporting manufacturing with high-quality designs and engineering documentation.

वे उन टीम का िहसा थे िजहने वीएसएनएल और दूरदशन के सैटकॉम अथ टेशन के िलए भारत के पहले 65-केिवन सी-बड और िवतारत-सी-बड कम शोर एपलीफायर को िवकिसत कया था। उनक टीम बीईएल म संचार और रडार अनुयोग दोन के िलए गैिलयम नाइाइड (GaN) तकनीक पर आधारत ांसमीटर के साथ-साथ चरणब सरणी रडार के िलए सी-बड ाड ांसिमट-रसीव (टी/आर) मॉूल और माइोवेव ूब एपलीफायर के िलए सॉिलड-टेट ितथापन िवकिसत करने वाली पहली टीम थ।

He was a part of the teams that developed India's first 65-Kelvin C-band and Extended-C-band Low Noise Amplifiers for Satcom earth stations of VSNL & Doordarshan. His teams also were the first to develop transmitters based on Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology for both communications & radar applications in BEL along with C-Band Quad Transmit-Receive (T/R) Modules for phased array radars & solid-state replacements for microwave tube amplifiers.

वष 2020 म कोिवड-19 क पहली लहर के दौरान, उहने उन टीम का नेतृव कया, िजहने 45 दन म बीईएल को आईएसओ 13485:2016 मेिडकल मानक मािणत करवाया और बीईएल के आईसीयू वटलेटर िसटम का तीसरे प ारा मूयांकन करवाया, िजसके बाद उहने 3 ½ महीने म 30,000 वटलेटर िसटम (िजसम 1.5 लाख सब-िसटम शािमल ह) का ी िडपैच िनरीण सफलतापूवक पूरा कया।

During the first wave of COVID-19, in 2020, he led teams which got BEL certified to the ISO 13485:2016 Medical Standard in 45 days & BEL's ICU Ventilator System third-party evaluated, before successfully completing the Pre Dispatch Inspection of 30,000 Ventilator Systems (comprising 1.5 Lakh sub-systems) in 3 ½ months.

वष 2020-22 के दौरान, उहने कंपोनट एसबीयू के टन-अराउंड म भी महवपूण भूिमका िनभाई, िजसम खरीद म तेजी लाना और कई उपाद समूह म उपादन को बढ़ाना शािमल है। जीएम (टीपी) के प म, वे अनुसंधान एवं िवकास या और परयोजना क देखरेख और गित बढ़ाने पर यान कत कर रहे ह।

During 2020-22, he also played a key role in the turn-around of Components SBU, including speeding up procurement and ramping up production across multiple product groups. As GM (TP), he has been focussed on overseeing & speeding up R&D processes and projects.

उनक टीम ने कई पेटट आवेदन दायर कए ह और कई बीईएल अनुसंधान एवं िवकास पुरकार, साथ ही एसओडीईटी और रा मंी पुरकार जीते ह। डी एंड ई, टीओटी अवशोषण, ान बंधन, उपादन और खरीद म िविवध अनुभव के साथ एक टीम िखलाड़ी - उनका मानना है क बीईएल को अपने लय को ा करने के िलए येक काय को महव दया जाना चािहए और उसका पोषण कया जाना चािहए। वह अपने सभी सीखने, दशन और िवकास का ेय असाधारण प से ितब पूव और वतमान वर और सहकमय को देते ह।

His teams have filed multiple patent applications and won multiple BEL R&D Awards, plus SODET & Raksha Mantri Awards. A team player -- with varied experience in D&E, ToT absorption, knowledge management, production & procurement -- he believes that every function needs to be valued & nurtured for BEL to achieve its goals. He attributes all his learning, performance and growth to exceptionally committed past & present seniors & colleagues.
