सेबी (एलओडीआर) विनियम, 2015 के विनियम 30(2) के तारतम्य में, आपको सूचित किया जाता है कि रक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार ने अपने पत्र दिनांक 29 अप्रैल, 2020 द्वारा श्री कोशी एलेक्ज़ाण्डर (डी.आई.एन.), निदेशक (वित्त) एवं सीएफओ जो अधिवार्षिता की आयु प्राप्त करने पर 31 जलाई, 2020 को अपनी सेवाओं से सेवानिवत्त हो रहे हैं, के स्थान पर श्री दिनेश कुमार बत्रा (डी.आई.एन. 08773363) को दिनांक 1 अगस्त, 2020 से प्रभावी करते हुए निदेशक (वित्त) एवं सीएफओ नियुक्त किया है । इस संबंध में, निदेशक मंडल ने दिनांक 1 अगस्त, 2020 से लाग करते हुए श्री दिनेश कुमार बत्रा की अपर निदेशक [निदेशक (वित्त) एवं सी.एफ.ओ.] के रूप में नियक्ति को अनमोदन प्रदान किया है।

Pursuant to Regulation 30(2) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 we wish to inform that Ministry of Defence, Government of India vide its letter dated 29^th April, 2020 appointed Mr. Dinesh Kumar Batra (DIN: 08773363) as Director (Finance) w.e.f 1^st August, 2020 vice Mr. Koshy Alexander (DIN: 07896084), Director (Finance) & CFO who has retired from his services on 31^st July, 2020 on attaining the age of superannuation. In this regard, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Dinesh Kumar Batra as Additional Director [Director (Finance) & CFO] w.e.f 1^st August, 2020.

Brief Profile of Mr. Dinesh Kumar Batra:

Mr Dinesh Kumar Batra assumed charge as Director (Finance) of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on August 1, 2020.

Mr Dinesh Batra is an alumnus of Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi, and Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. Mr Dinesh Batra joined BEL at its Ghaziabad Unit in ¹⁹⁸⁴ and in ^a career spanning over three and half decades, served the Company in various capacities in Ghaziabad, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru. Prior to his elevation as Director (Finance), he headed Internal Audit at BEL's Corporate Office, Regional Office-Delhi and Pune Unit as General Manager. With his expertise in cost and financial management, he turned around the Pune Unit with consistent, multi-fold growth in top and bottom line.

Mr Dinesh Batra was instrumental in the company's move to foray into the Electro-Explosive segment. To make India "Aatmanirbhar" in Electronic Artillery Fuzes and other ammunitions, he got ²⁰⁰ acres land allotted by Maharashtra Government at Nagpur to set up an Explosive Integration Complex. He is also credited with BEL entering into Li-on battery packs for automobiles to support the e-Mobility programme of the Government of India. He was instrumental in BEL-Pune diversifying into the indigenous development and manufacturing of X-ray Baggage Inspection System, Fuel Cell, Fiber Optic Gyro, Chemical Agent Monitor, etc.

Mr Dinesh Batra has the ability to anticipate and address key financial issues, thereby creating wealth for the company. He has rich experience in all areas of Finance, strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and exemplary leadership skills.
