Press Release

The second alarming wave of Corona epidemic in the country has caused outcry all around. The state of Maharashtra has been the worst affected with more than 65 thousand people getting corona infected every day. The situation in Mumbai metropolis is also very serious. Corona infected victims are unable to find a place in hospitals even after waiting for several days. Keeping in view such a worst situation, Mr. Babulal Bhansali, Managing Director of Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited located at Abu Road (Rajasthan) after consultation with Chairman of Jain International Trade Organization (Jito) Mumbai Zone Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, Director Mr. Ashok Mehta, Chairman of Jito Walkeshwar Chapter Mr. Ashish Yogesh Shah and Jito Gwalia Tank Secretary Mr. Mukesh Doshi, has decided to open a 100 bed corona care centre at Janata Nagar Municipal School, Behind AC Market, Near Imperial Tower, Tardeo, Mumbai – 400034 in which 50% of the beds will be with oxygen facility. The Admitted patients will be served with pure vegetarian food. Necessary permission from D ward of BMC to open this Covid Care Centre has already been received. This Jito Covid Care Centre will be started on 29.04.2021.

This Jito Covid Care Centre will be managed by Jito Gwalia Tank and Jito Walkeshwar Chapter. We are thankful to Shri Vardhman Jain Parishad Sanchore (Mumbai) for their support. The Jito Covid Care Centre will be medically managed by the Jain Doctor’s Federation team.

This covid care centre will be fully sponsored by Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited and the entire cost of the centre will be borne by the BEPL. Corona infected patients admitted to this Covid Care Centre will be treated free of cost. The patients will not be required to spend money on any kind of covid related treatment.
