• Sub: Intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (Listing Regulations) in connection with temporary disruption / closure of manufacturing operations at plants located in Satnoor (Madhya Pradesh) and Abu Road (Rajasthan) due to directives issued by the State Governments and Central Government to contain the spread of Corona Virus Disease.

Dear Sir /Madam,

This is further to our letter bearing Ref. No. BEPL/SEC/2020/186 dated March 26, 2020 informing about the initiatives taken by the Company in view of the outbreak of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19).

The State Governments and the Central Government had been timely notifying various measures / directives to contain the spread of COVID-19. The Central Government had on March 24, 2020 declared lockdown of the Country for a period of 21 days (i.e. from midnight of March 24, 2020).

Due to the Lock down, the Company has not been able to carry on its manufacturing operations and other activities in the normal course of business.

In view of the above facts and adverse circumstances, viz. Force Majeure , the Company has temporarily suspended manufacturing operations at its plants located in Satnoor, Madhya Pradesh (March 23, 2020) and Abu Road, Rajasthan (March 24, 2020). The resumption of the manufacturing operation will depend upon improvement of the situation and further directives from the Government authorities.

The Company is closely monitoring the situation and will comply with all directives issued by the Central Government and State Government in this regard, from time to time.
