("Bezant" or the "Company")

Result of Annual General Meeting

and Change of Accounting Reference Date

Bezant (AIM: BZT), the AIM quoted mineral exploration and development company, announces that the resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today, as set out in the notice dated 15 November 2016, were all duly approved by shareholders. 

In addition, the Company announces that it has changed its accounting reference date from 30 June to 31 December with immediate effect. As a result of the change of accounting reference date, the Company's reporting calendar will be as follows:

-      Audited results for the 6 months to 31 December 2016, to be published by 30 June 2017;

-      Unaudited interim results for the six months to 30 June 2017, to be published by 30 September 2017; and

-      Audited results for the 12 months to 31 December 2017, to be published by 30 June 2018.

Thereafter interim and annual reports will be published each year for the six months to 30 June and 12 months to 31 December in accordance with the AIM Rules for Companies.

The Company is changing its accounting reference date, as set out above, in order to align the reporting dates of companies within the recently enlarged group and thereby streamline and reduce administration costs going forward.
