Ad hoc announcement by Bertrandt Aktiengesellschaft

Süd-Kapitalbeteiligungs-Gesellschaft mbH, Stuttgart, a subsidiary of
Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, informed us today that it has acquired a
shareholding of 24.99% in Bertrandt AG (2,534,795 voting rights) from
ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG and ThyssenKrupp Steel AG. ThyssenKrupp Steel
AG still has a shareholding of 0.02% (2,057 voting rights). The successful
project-related cooperation between Bertrandt and ThyssenKrupp will not be
affected by the changes in shareholding structure.
