Be signs a partnership with U-ANT implementing the most complete European portfolio for pandemic control services
Be Shaping the Future, company listed on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, has formalised a commercial partnership agreement with U-ANT – an innovative start-up by Professor Andrea Crisanti, an internationally renowned virologist – and Prof. Vittorio Carlei, professor of Advanced Analytics at LUISS Guido Carli to support the continuity of work. The company specialises in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms applied to microbiology and epidemiological issues.
U-ANT is the result of a research project entitled "Covid-19 company risk surveillance" funded by the Leonardo Del Vecchio Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Microbiology and Virology of the University of Padova.
U-ANT has developed a methodology called "ACORP+" targeted to large corporate companies. Through an initial anamnestic questionnaire and subsequent periodic recalls, the aim is to offer each individual within the comany a specific risk indicator. The method is based on cross-referencing of data relating to work conditions with environmental and epidemiological data.

The "Innovation Pole of Genetic Genomics and Biology" of Siena has also collaborated in the development of the methodology and the application of the algorithm in work environments.
The results obtained so far have demonstrated an effectiveness that is higher than the national average, in the identification of positive cases through swab testing. The method has already been adopted by companies such as Luxottica and the Kering Group.
Be will integrate the entire U-ANT methodology, in all its different components – including the request and outcome of the surveys – will into its Human Mobility app, thus creating the most comprehensive portfolio of corporate services at European level in the fight against the pandemic.
