ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES EXCHANGE
Resignation of Mr Matthew Syme, Non-Executive Director
The Board of Berkeley Resources Limited (‘Berkeley’, or ‘the Company’) advises that, following the agreement reached with Enusa Industrias Avanzadas S.A.(‘ENUSA’) and announced on 24 July, 2012, Mr Matthew Syme has resigned his position as a nonexecutive Director with immediate effect.
As Managing Director of the Company from 2004 to 2009, Mr Syme was responsible for the initial acquisition of uranium assets in Spain in 2005 and also for subsequently acquiring, in 2008, the right to explore and develop the uranium assets within the State Reserves held by ENUSA. He has been a non-executive Director since 2009.
The Board gratefully acknowledges Mr Syme’s key contributions to the Company.
