BCS – Production on Flesland has started up again
(Bergen, 5 May 2022): Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS, OSE:BCS)
The 8th of April our production on Flesland was shut down as a preventive measure, due to the discovery of a installation fault in the ventilation system between the mechanical workshop and the production hall.
The fault has been rectified, and we have performed a full remediation wash of the production hall, and secured samples of dust for further analysis. Since the production hall now is cleaned, and considered safe, production is resumed from today. A complete evaluation of the incident will be completed when all results from testing is received, and this will be distributed to potentially affected parties.
All activities on development projects dependent on access to the production hall have also resumed.
