("Beowulf" or the "Company")

Result of General Meeting

Beowulf (AIM: BEM; Aktietorget: BEO), the mineral exploration company focused on developing the group's Kallak North and Kallak South iron ore deposits in northern Sweden, announces that the resolutions proposed at the Company's General Meeting ("GM") held earlier today, as set out in the notice dated 12 July 2013, were all duly approved by shareholders. The purpose of the GM was to seek shareholder approval to update the relevant board authorities to allot the Company's shares.

Further to the announcement made on 10 July 2013, application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Second Subscription Shares and Second Value Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to become effective and dealings in the, in aggregate, 40,836,600 ordinary shares are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 13 August 2013. The Company's issued ordinary share capital will consist of 282,827,365 ordinary shares of 1 penny each with voting rights. Beowulf does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury and accordingly there are no voting rights in respect of any treasury shares.

The aforementioned figure of 282,827,365 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Beowulf under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Further to the allotment of the Second Subscription Shares and Second Value Shares, Lanstead is now interested in 70,400,000 ordinary shares representing approximately 24.89 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital.
