Beiersdorf Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg, is forecasting sales growth of 6-7%
for the Group and the Consumer and tesa business segments alike in fiscal
year 2013 on the back of its strong business performance (previously: 5-6%
for the Group and the Consumer Business Segment and 4-5% for the tesa
Business Segment). With respect to EBIT, Beiersdorf is expecting an EBIT
margin of around 13% for the Group (previously: 12-13%). The EBIT margin
for the Consumer Business Segment is expected to be in excess of 12%, as
before, while the margin for the tesa Business Segment is expected to be
around 16% (previously: around 14%).

Beiersdorf increased Group sales organically by 7.3% year-on-year to
EUR4.674 billion in the first three quarters of fiscal year 2013. The Group
EBIT margin rose to 13.9%.

The interim report for the third quarter will be published on November 5,
2013, at 08.00 a.m.
