Appointment of new Director – Harper Kilpatrick

Bega Cheese Limited (ASX:BGA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Harper Kilpatrick as a director of the Company.

Harper and his wife Oonagh operates two dairy farms near Koroit in Western Victoria milking approximately 1,200 cows.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Harper has a Bachelor of Science (Hon’s) in Agriculture, an MBA, is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Harper’s career has centred around agriculture and agribusiness. Harper’s executive career in agribusiness included several executive roles with Glenfarm Holdings Limited in the UK, and Deputy CFO / Head of Finance with Almarai Co. Limited in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Harper has held a number of Australian dairy industry positions including 3 years as a nonexecutive director of West Vic Dairy Inc., 18 months as a non-executive director of Murray Goulburn Co-operative Limited and is currently a non-executive Finance Director of the Australian Dairy Conference Pty. Ltd. a position he has held for 6 years.

The Board welcomes Harper and believes his appointment as a supplier director will complement the skills of the existing Board.
