Appointment of new CFO

Beforepay Group Limited (Beforepay or the Company) (ASX: B4P) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Bencsik as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) commencing on Monday, 11 April 2022.

A Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant and Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (UK) with a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) and Master of Business Administration (Macq), Mr Bencsik brings over 30 years’ experience in banking and financial services across Australia, US, Asia and UK, and major international financial centres. Most recently Mr Bencsik held the role of Chief Financial Officer, Genworth Mortgage Insurance.

Mr Bencsik started his career as a senior accountant at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) before moving on to senior finance and strategy roles at Westpac Banking Group, HSBC Holdings plc (UK), Commonwealth Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank (UAE), and Bank of Queensland.

Commenting on Mr Bencsik’s appointment, Beforepay's CEO Jamie Twiss said: “I’m delighted to welcome Michael to Beforepay. Michael brings a strong track record of financial leadership, and his extensive CFO experience will support the Company as we continue to execute on our strategy.”

Mr Bencsik succeeds Mr David Brady, who will be stepping down as CFO effective from close of business today, and then leave the Company after a transition period. The Board thanks Mr Brady for his service to the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
