The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Bechtle: Share buyback program Gaildorf, 30 September 2002. The Board of Management has decided today to buy back up to 2.000.000 of the company’s own shares on the basis of the resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting on June 10, 2002. The supervisory board has approved. The authorization can be utilized in entirely or in portion, once or manifold until December, 1st 2003. The purchase is primarily intended for acquiring companies against the grant of shares. The shares will be purchased only on the stock market. The Board currently considers the Bechtle-shares to be favorable valued. Bechtle currently has a market capitalisation of around Euro 100 million, so that it is valued at only around 12.5 per cent of its sales for 2002.
