Bechtle publishes preliminary figures for Q3 2012.
Neckarsulm, 23.10.2012 - In the first nine months of 2012, Bechtle AG's
revenues climbed to EUR 1.485 billion, an increase of 5.3 per cent
(previous year: EUR 1.411 billion). Over the course of the year, the group
was able to continually improve upon its revenues. At EUR 501.6 million, a
plus of around 1 per cent, earnings in the months of July to September are
just above the previous year's level. In the third quarter, Bechtle
generated an operative income (EBIT) of EUR 18.7 million (previous year:
EUR 22.1 million). Over the nine-month period, EBIT amounts to EUR 51.5
million, a decline of some 14 per cent compared to the previous year. This
is largely due to an increase in HR costs, which could not be compensated
by the increase in revenues and the improvement of the contribution margin.
At the balance-sheet date, Bechtle employed 5,978 people, 621 more than in
the previous year.
Bechtle AG will publish its Q3 interim report with the final figures on 13
November 2012.
