Bechtle AG: Considerable increase in earnings in the 2007 first quarter

Bechtle AG / Quarter Results/Preliminary Results

Release of an Ad hoc announcement according to § 15 WpHG, transmitted by
DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.

Neckarsulm, 24/04/2007 – Based on preliminary figures, Bechtle AG expects
earnings before tax for the 2007 first quarter to amount to 13 million
Euros, a considerable increase compared to the previous year (8.8 million
Euros). This is substantially due to positive one-off effects which account
for 2.6 million Euros, two million Euros of which alone are the result of a
property sale in Switzerland. Turnover for the 2007 first quarter lies at
around 310 million Euros (2006: 291 million Euros).

Therefore, the executive board raises its EBT forecast for the whole of
2007. Presupposing a constantly good economic situation and a strong 2007
fourth quarter, they expect an attainable EBT of at least 50 million Euros.
Hitherto they had estimated at approx. 48 million Euros.

Bechtle will publish the definite figures for the 2007 first quarter on 15
May 2007.
