Bechtle: final Q3 figures Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Bechtle: final Q3 figures Gaildorf, 15.11.2002. In the 3rd quarter, Bechtle AG returned sales of 205m euros. Compared with the comparable figure for last year (Q3/01: 161m euros), this means an increase of over 27%. EBT was up 52% to 7.6m euros (Q3/01: 5.0m euros). In the Q1-Q3 reference period, Bechtle sales, including acquisitions, had thus increased some 20% from 459m euros in 2001 to 553m euros. Seen overall, Bechtle now shows an EBT of 11.9m euros (last year’s figure: 10.3m euros). Both segments (system house and eCommerce) are operating profitably. The key factor affecting the overall performance will be the business done in December. Bechtle no longer expects to see an improvement on the market but, in view of its preliminary figures in October, now expects that, even with sales below the 800m euros it has been predicting, group earnings will be higher than in 2001. The company is therefore still aiming for an EBT of slightly above 14.4m euros, with sales likely to remain within a corridor varying between 765 and 780m euros. In the current market situation, Bechtle is out and get business whatever the cost.
