Bechtle AG: Bechtle completes reorganisation of Group structure with an extended holding company board

Bechtle AG has completed the reorganisation of its Group structure, which
focused on a separation of the operative from the strategic level, with an
extension of the holding company board. The service-oriented 'IT System
House & Managed Services' segment and the 'IT e-Commerce' segment, which is
more process-oriented, will now have their own boards, which will be
responsible for the individual strategic focus of their specific segment.

In addition to the Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Thomas Olemotz, who has
been in office for two years, the new three-member holding board will
include Michael Guschlbauer, who will be responsible for the 'IT System
House & Managed Services' segment and Jürgen Schäfer for the 'IT
E-Commerce' segment. Both were appointed to the board at today’s
Supervisory Board meeting for three years. The appointments take effect
from 1.1.2009. Dr. Thomas Olemotz, whose contract was extended ahead of
time today for an additional five years, will assume the position of
Spokesman of the Board o Directors.

The company’s co-founder and current Chairman and CEO, Ralf Klenk, after 25
years at the helm of Bechtle, will no longer be extending his contract as
previously planned. He will remain associated with Bechtle and will support
the transition to the new board, but will then dedicate himself to private
projects, particularly in the field of social aid.
