Beazley plc announces a block listing application has been made for a total of 4,650,000 ordinary shares of five pence each in the capital of the Company to be admitted to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and admitted to trading on the main market of London Stock Exchange plc.

4,650,000 ordinary shares of five pence each will be block listed pursuant to the Company's following schemes:

Beazley plc Save As You Earn Share Option Plan 2016	1,900,000
Beazley plc US Savings related share option plan 2016	750,000
Beazley plc Long Term Incentive Plan 2016	2,000,000

Admission is expected to become effective on 31 May 2019.

The shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
