Beacon Minerals Limited (ASX: BCN) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Beacon Minerals Limited (‘BCN’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of BCN, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 24 August 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

BEACON MINERALS LIMITED – REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 Beacon Minerals Limited (ASX: BCN) ( Beacon ) requests that the Australian Securities Exchange ( ASX ) grant a trading halt on Beacon’s securities with immediate effect.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, Beacon provides the following information:

• (a) Beacon is seeking the trading halt due to a material acquisition transaction.

• (b) Beacon requests that the trading halt last until Beacon makes an announcement to the market about completion of the transaction. The announcement regarding the transaction will likely be made before the commencement of normal trade on Tuesday, 24 August 2021.

• (c) Beacon is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.

• (d) Beacon is not aware of any other information available at this stage that is necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
