Beacon Minerals Limited (ASX: BCN) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Beacon Minerals Limited (‘BCN’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of BCN, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 19 August 2019 or when the announcement is released to the market.

BEACON MINERALS LIMITED – REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 Beacon Minerals Limited ( Beacon ) requests that the Australian Securities Exchange ( ASX ) grant a trading halt on Beacon’s securities with immediate effect.

For the purpose of Listing Rule 7.1, Beacon provides the following information:

• (a) Beacon is seeking the trading halt due to a proposed capital raising.

• (b) Beacon requests that the trading halt last until Beacon makes an announcement to the market about completion of the proposed capital raising. The announcement regarding the capital raising will likely be made before the commencement of normal trade on 19 August 2019.

• (c) Beacon is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
