Duiven, the Netherlands, January 14, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the "Company" or "Besi") (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC: BESIY, Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 49,000 of its ordinary shares during the period from Wednesday January 6, 2016 up to and including Thursday January 14, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 16.71 for a total purchase amount of € 819,023. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 282,382 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 17.63 for a total purchase amount of € 4,977,519. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
