Duiven, the Netherlands, July 30, 2010 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. ("the Company" or "Besi") (NYSE Euronext: BESI), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that Mr Jan Willem Ruinemans, Chief Financial Officer and a member of Besi's management board, resigned his position effective October 31, 2010 to pursue a business opportunity outside of the semiconductor industry.
Commenting on the announcement, Richard W. Blickman said: "We thank Jan Willem for his many contributions to Besi over the past two years in the transformation of our company and wish him well in pursuing his next business opportunity."
