Result of AGM and Director Appointment

BATM Advanced Communications Limited (LSE: BVC; TASE: BATM), a leading provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems, announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Group held earlier today, all of the resolutions were passed, including the appointment of Mrs Orna Pollock as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mrs Pollock (neé Kaldi), aged 55, has over 20 years' executive management experience in biotechnology, healthcare, medical diagnostics, medical device and clinical lab-automation. She is currently Chief Executive Officer of Galmedics Biotech, a biomedical company focused on treating dysmenorrhea, which she joined in December 2014. Prior to joining Galmedics, she held the position of Chief Executive Officer of MicroMedic Technologies (TASE: MCTC), which, through its investee companies, develops and commercialises novel molecular biomarkers related to cancer. She also consulted for Sysmex Europe GmbH, a subsidiary of Sysmex Corporation, to perform a Market Analysis of the Israeli Diagnostic Hematology Market. A significant portion of her career, from 1989-2002, was spent with the Gamida for Life & Healthcare Technologies Group, where she held advanced to several executive positions, primarily within the Gamidor Diagnostics Division.

Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Gideon Chitayat, Chairman of BATM, said: "We are delighted to welcome Orna to the Board of BATM.
