Result of AGM and Appointment of External Director

BATM Advanced Communications Limited (LSE: BVC; TASE: BATM), a leading provider of real-time technologies for the networked telecoms and medical laboratory equipment markets, announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Group held earlier today, Resolutions 1, 3, 4, 5 and 8 were duly passed, and Resolutions 2, 6 and 7 were rejected.

Further to the approval of Resolution 4.5, Mr. Gideon Barak has been appointed as an external director of the Group, as required under Israeli law, for a term of three years with immediate effect and replacing Mr. Amos Shani, who has retired on expiry of his term of office. Mr. Barak has held senior executive and non-executive positions in numerous leading Israeli technology companies since 1984, including currently being a director of Spikko Telecom Ltd. He has also founded several businesses that were subsequently acquired by established international corporations including Intel and Pixim/Sony. He has also served in the past as a venture partner in Benchmark Capital and Blue Run Venture Fund. Mr. Barak holds a BA degree in Economics and an MBA degree from Tel- Aviv University.
