APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Bathurst Resources Limited (ASX:BRL) is pleased to advise the appointment of Melanie Hart as company secretary in accordance with listing rule 3.16.1, with immediate effect.

Mrs Hart is a chartered accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand. She has over 15 years’ experience in varied finance and corporate roles in New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland, for both global and national corporations. She is studying with Governance New Zealand (the New Zealand division of the Chartered Governance Institute) towards a chartered secretary qualification, due to be completed by the end of this year.

Mrs Hart has been with BRL since June 2017, and this appointment reflects that over time she has increasingly taken over responsibility of BRL’s company secretary duties. Mr Bill Lyne who is currently company secretary will remain with BRL in capacity as support company secretary, and to ensure compliance with matters that require an authorised person to be resident in Australia.

For the purposes of ASX listing rule 12.6 Melanie Hart is an additional person responsible for communications with the ASX.
