This is to inform that Mr. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan (DIN : 03438046), who was re-appointed as the Managing Director of the Company for a period of 5 years w.e.f. February 23, 2016 at the 83rd AGM (2016) of the Company, has been re-appointed as the Managing Director for a further period upto September 30, 2021, subject to approval of the members of the Company.
Further, pursuant to the Stock Exchange Circulars dated June 20, 2018 regarding Enforcement of SEBI Orders regarding Appointment of Directors by Listed Companies, we specifically affirm that Mr. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority.
The details required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (as amended), read with SEBI Circular No. CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015 dated 9th September, 2015 are provided as an Annexure hereto.

| Brief Profile | Mr. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineeringfrom the University of Kerala. He has attended various courses and advancedprogrammes of BSO, viz. Course Leader Advanco 2009 (India / China),Advanco2006inSingapore,AdvanceRetailingCourses,ExecutiveManagement Programme in 2009, Sprint 1997 (Retail Course), and Retailco1996 in India. In addition, he has also attended a programme in IMD,Switzerland on Leadership and Sustainable Business Growth.He joined Bata Shoe Organisation (BSO) in the year 1990 and has since beenassociated with the Company. With a rich experience of 30 years, he haspreviously handled the positions of the Director of Wholesale Channels,Sales & Marketing with Bata International-Canada, and the Vice President ofBata India Limited in Retail Operations and Wholesale Division. He waspreviously the Managing Director of Bata Bangladesh for a period of oneyear and the Managing Director of Bata Thailand for a period of three years.Before joining as the Managing Director of Bata India Limited in October2011, Mr. Gopalakrishnan was the Managing Director of Bata Retail Storesfor a period of 9 months. He was re-appointed as the Managing Director atthe 83rd AGM (2016) of the Company for a period of 5 years w.e.f. February23, 2016. |
