Basware has agreed to deliver a scan & capture service to construction group
Lemminkäinen. The value of the agreement is approximately 600 000 Euros over the
next three years.

With the Basware scan & capture service, Lemminkäinen is able to receive all
purchase invoices in an electronic format. Basware scans and validates all
incoming paper invoices and delivers them to the invoice processing system as e-
invoices. Lemminkäinen has been using the Basware Invoice Processing solution
since 2003 and with the scan & capture service can now transform its Accounts
Payable processes fully electronic, further increasing process efficiencies."By outsourcing scanning, companies can improve invoice quality as well as
immediately move to electronic invoicing. An outsourced service can easily be
scaled as invoice volumes grow," says Ilkka Sihvo, CEO, Basware Corp.

The scan & capture service is part of Basware Connectivity Services that enable
companies to improve purchase-to-pay process quality as well increase the number
of electronic invoices, purchase messages and supplier catalogs while reducing
time spent on reviewing, approving and processing. The Basware Connectivity
Services also makes it easier for suppliers to start transacting electronically.
