Basware Corporation has received on February 4, 2019 the following notification
pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Market Act from
Arrowgrass Capital Partners LLP and its funds Arrowgrass Master Fund Ltd and
Arrowgrass Equity Focus Fund Ltd according to which their total holding of
shares of Basware Corporation has increased above twenty-five (25) percent on
February 1, 2019.

Basware Corporation has one series of shares in which each share carries one
vote. The total number of shares and votes is 14,401,936.
