Ad van der Poel appointed as Senior Vice President, Financing Services of
Basware

Mr. Ad van der Poel has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Financing
Services and member of the Executive Team at Basware, the leading provider of e-
invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions. Van der Poel will join Basware on
November 24, 2014, and he will report to Esa Tihilä, CEO, Basware Corporation.

Ad van der Poel has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services
industry, specifically in the field of payments and cash management. Mr. van der
Poel has held responsible product management executive and specialist positions
in the financing sector. He has been employed by the Bank of America since
2011, most recently as Head of Product Management EMEA, Global Treasury
Services. Prior to this Mr. van der Poel has been heading the product management
for e-Business, Payments & Cash Management at ING Commercial Banking.

Basware announced the launch of Financing Services in September 2014, providing
new and innovative financing services for buyers and suppliers, combining
payment with financing services for companies of all sizes, designed to optimize
cash and working capital through digital participation in the Basware Commerce
