Basler ends share buyback program and sells block of shares**

Ahrensburg, March 29, 2019 – The management of Basler AG, the leading global manufacturer of industrial cameras, has decided to end with immediate effect the share buyback program started on September 17, 2018.

Furthermore, the management board has decided to sell 3.72 % (130,200 pieces) of the 8.4 % of own shares held by Basler to 7 Industries B. V. at a price of Euro 160.00 per piece. 7 Industries B. V. is a family office owned by Ruthi Wertheimer making long-term investments in leading industrial and life science technology companies.

Due to this sale, the number of shares in circulation increases to 3,335,919 pieces. Against this background, the dividend proposal to be voted on in this year’s shareholders’ meeting on May 16, 2019, will change from Euro 1.59 to Euro 1.53 per share since the number of shares in circulation increases. The distribution follows the company’s dividend policy according to which 30 % of the net results are distributed every year.
