Ahrensburg, May 16, 2013 - On May 14, 2013 Mr. Marcel Ernzer, Luxemburg,
has informed us according to section 21 para. 1 WpHG, that his voting-right
proportion in Basler Aktiengesellschaft, Ahrensburg, Germany fell below the
threshold of 3 % on May 10, 2013 and amounted to 2.9375% (102,812 voting
rights) on that day.

These voting rights, 2.9375 % (102,812 voting rights), are attributable to
