Basic Chemical Industries Co announces that the Board Member Mr. Michael Simon Layous (Non-executive) (non-independent) has submitted his resignation from his position to Board of Directors on 22-10-2013 and BCI Board accepted his resignation today, 23-10-2013 with effect from 22-10-2013 due to the reasons to personal obligations and commitments.

The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors thanked Mr. Michael Simon Layous for his valuable and effective contribution during his tenure as Board Member at Basic Chemical Industries Co.
