Notifications of voting rights pursuant to § 25 WpHG

On February 17, 2015 we received the following notifications pursuant to §
25 WpHG:

1. On February 13, 2015, the percentage holding of the voting rights of
   BlackRock, Inc., New York, USA, in BASF SE (ISIN DE000BASF111) subject to
   disclosure according to § 25 WpHG fell below the threshold of 5 % through
   disposal and amounts to 0.00 % (0 voting rights) on that day (this
   corresponds to 0 voting rights out of a total of 918,478,694 voting
   rights). Thereof, 0.00 % (0 voting rights) are instruments pursuant to § 25
   WpHG (thereof held indirectly: 0.00 %, which equals to 0 voting rights) and
   5.75 % (52,774,670 voting rights out of a total of 918,478,694 voting
   rights) are voting rights pursuant to §§ 21 and 22 WpHG.

2. On February 13, 2015, the percentage holding of the voting rights of
   BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, USA, in BASF SE (ISIN DE000BASF111)
   subject to disclosure according to § 25 WpHG fell below the threshold of 5
   % through disposal and amounts to 0.00 % (0 voting rights) on that day
   (this corresponds to 0 voting rights out of a total of 918,478,694 voting
   rights). Thereof, 0.00 % (0 voting rights) are instruments pursuant to § 25
   WpHG (thereof held indirectly: 0.00 %, which equals to 0 voting rights) and
   5.64 % (51,807,231 voting rights out of a total of 918,478,694 voting
   rights) are voting rights pursuant to §§ 21 and 22 WpHG.

3. On February 13, 2015, the percentage holding of the voting rights of
   BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, USA, in BASF SE (ISIN
   DE000BASF111) subject to disclosure according to § 25 WpHG fell below the
   threshold of 5 % through disposal and amounts to 0.00 % (0 voting rights)
   on that day (this corresponds to 0 voting rights out of a total of
   918,478,694 voting rights). Thereof, 0.00 % (0 voting rights) are
   instruments pursuant to § 25 WpHG (thereof held indirectly: 0.00 %, which
   equals to 0 voting rights) and 5.58 % (51,291,083 voting rights out of a
   total of 918,478,694 voting rights) are voting rights pursuant to §§ 21 and
