Sub: Update regarding Key Management Personnel – Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015

We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of BASF India Limited at their meeting held today i.e. Tuesday, 2nd November 2021, took note / approved the following changes in the Key Management Personnel: -

• 1. Re-appointment of Mr. Rajesh Naik as the Whole-time Director of the Company for a period of 5 years, effective 1[st ] April 2022, subject to the approval of the Shareholders of the Company.

Profile of Mr. Rajesh Naik

Mr. Rajesh Naik, aged 52 years, is a Chemical Engineer from MS University, Vadodara. Mr. Naik joined BASF on 7th April 2014 and has valuable experience of over 25 years and had worked with Companies like Asian Paints, EI Dupont India Pvt. Ltd., etc. Prior to joining BASF, Mr. Naik was working as VicePresident-Marketing with English Indian Clay Ltd. (EICL) based at Bangalore. Presently, Mr. Rajesh Naik is Head Manufacturing & Whole-time Director of the Company since 1st April 2019 and also Occupier under the Factories Act, 1948 for all production sites of the Company.

• 1. Noting of the superannuation of Mr. Pradeep Chandan, Director – Legal, General Counsel (South Asia) & Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company, effective from the close of business hours of 28[th] February 2022
• 1. Appointment of Mr. Manohar Kamath as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of the Company effective 1[st] March 2022.

Profile of Mr. Manohar Kamath

Mr. Manohar Kamath, presently 42 years of age, is a Commerce & Law Graduate. He is also a qualified Company Secretary and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi. He has also done his Diploma in Finance Management from Wellingkar Institute of Management Studies. He is associated with BASF India Limited since December, 2007 and is currently designated as Senior General Manager, Legal & Company Secretarial. He has over 15 years of post-qualification experience in Company Secretarial function and has gained experience in Legal, Compliance,
