KOPORE CORPORATE UPDATE
Kopore Metals Limited ( ASX:KMT ) ( Kopore or the Company ) is pleased to provide an update on proceeds from the sale of its Namibian projects.
Last week Kopore closed its transaction with Sandfire Resources Limited ( Sandfire ) and the Company received total consideration equivalent to A$2 million, comprising of A$1 million cash and 222,366 fully paid ordinary shares in Sandfire. (ASX Release: 27 May 2020)
Kopore now advises the market that it has divested its 222,366 Sandfire shares for net proceeds of $1,003,285. Total cash proceeds received for the sale of the Namibian projects was therefore $2,003,285.
As Covid 19 restrictions are being relaxed in Botswana, the Company is conducting a strategic review of its Botswanan projects as it plans its next steps and will update the market in due course.
