Kopore Metals Limited – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Kopore Metals Limited (the ‘Company’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 11 July 2018 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt – Kopore Metals Limited (ASX: KMT)

Kopore Metals Limited ( Kopore or the Company ) requests the immediate implementation of a trading halt in the ordinary shares of the Company, to apply from the commencement of trading on 9 July 2018 until the commencement of trading on 11 July 2018.

For the purpose of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Kopore provides the following information:

• (a) The trading halt is requested as Kopore completes a private placement of up to 106M ordinary shares at 2.5 cents per share to sophisticated investors under a mandate with a licensed securities dealer to advance the Company’s exploration drilling operations in the Kalahari Copper Belt in Botswana (the Placement Offer );

• (b) Kopore requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of Kopore making an announcement to the market regarding the outcome Placement Offer and the commencement of trading on 11 July 2018; and

• (c) Kopore is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted and of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
