Exercise of option under the Barratt Developments Savings-Related Share Option Scheme

In accordance with the requirements of D.T.R.3.1.2 Barratt Developments PLC (the "Company") was notified that, David Thomas, Chief Executive, has exercised an option to purchase 4,398 shares at an exercise price of 204.6 pence per share under the Company's Savings-Related Share Option Scheme, in London, on 27 June 2016.

Following the above exercise, David Thomas holds 1,280,726 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company representing 0.1278% of the Company's issued share capital.

Following the above exercise, the Company confirms that, at the date of this announcement, each of the Executive Directors holds an option/award over the following total number of Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each in the Company:
