David Thomas, Group Finance Director, exercise of an option under the Barratt Developments Savings-Related Share Option Scheme

In accordance with the requirements of D.T.R.3.1.2 Barratt Developments PLC (the "Company") was notified on 13 November 2013 that, David Thomas, Group Finance Director, exercised an option to purchase 7,811 shares at an exercise price of 1.1618 pence per share under the Company's Savings-Related Share Option Scheme, in London, on 13 November 2013.

Following the above exercise, David Thomas holds 559,761 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company representing 0.057% of the Company's issued share capital.

The Company confirms that at the date of this announcement, each of the Directors/PDMRs hold the following total number of shares of 10 pence each in the Company:
