BARRATT DEVELOPMENTS PLC

(the 'Company')

Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them

The Company announces that Steven Boyes, Chief Operating Officer/Deputy Chief Executive has transferred 50,000 shares to the SJ Boyes Discretionary Settlement 2016 and Andrea Boyes, a PCA of Steven Boyes has transferred 50,000 shares to the A Boyes Discretionary Settlement 2016. The trustees of each of these Discretionary Settlements are Steven Boyes, Andrea Boyes and Nigel Paul Shaw and the Discretionary Settlements are PCAs of Steven Boyes. The shares being transferred will still be included when calculating the total shareholding of Steven Boyes and his PCAs.

Accordingly, the Company confirms that, at the date of this announcement, each of the PDMRs of the Company, including their PCAs, hold the following total number of ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company:
